I sigh
Head laid back
Crackling fire
A calm music plays from the small box

But there are times
When i have to rewind it
Not just the box
I go out for a stroll

The fresh snow cracked under my shoes
As my heart had cracked so many times before
Images slipped by casually
I took a sip of my wine

The trees’ leaves had withered and died
Covered by the snow
Not a trace to be seen
But the small hills

The cold was something i had gotten used to
In this world
Everything was cold
It was like steel

I stroke the snow off the statue’s head
Its stone eyes stared at me
While i took the snow off
It resembled me

But it wasn’t me
And i walked away again
Broken glass
Spilled wine

The doors opened
The warmth of the fire greeting me
Like the passion i had once felt
But it was nothing more than a wave of warmth now

The night was eternal
As the darkness was pretty
And yet terrifying at the same time
The known and the unknown

I hungered for those times
But they were all lost
And i sat back into the chair
And laid my head back
this is a little poem i wrote sometime
it's actually quite long....
for my doing either way ^^
